Schibsted Marketing Services is responsible for selling ad solutions for the entire Schibsted media house. An increasingly complex market and challenges like GDPR has led to major changes for the organization and the business. In order to succeed with the transformation taking place, and to lead both teams and individuals through the changes, the Swedish part of the organisation had decided to invest in leadership training for all of its leaders.
The organization underwent various change processes, including reorganization, new senior management, customer segmentation, and new ways of working. Leaders led their teams through the changes while maintaining high engagement levels.
The ultimate goal was to maintain a positive development of the organization's engagement index during the changes, which required leaders to work together, communicate transparently, and receive support from the organization.

To support our goal of increasing our innovation capacity and our ability to lead and create sustainable change, we have developed a comprehensive leadership development program that focuses on Change Management. The program begins with a joint kickoff for all leaders, which sets the foundation for the training and development journey that follows.
Each leader will have individual training goals based on their specific needs and leadership style. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to share their learnings and discuss training, we will hold regular team meetings and leadership forums.
We will also provide continuous training reports to follow up on training efforts and inspire leaders to continue their development. This way, management can easily access aggregated training data and get insights into what leaders are practicing, how often they practice, and how they feel they are developing.
Our sales organization thrives on healthy competition, so we will also rank different parts of the organization against each other, which will push teams to train even more often. Additionally, the program will culminate in a Training Award to recognize and celebrate the efforts of our leaders in their development journey. With this program, we aim to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth that will help us drive the business forward in the right direction and truly make things happen.
